Radical

At one of the churches I serve we have started a small group ministry that is having a huge impact on people's lives.
In the group that I lead we are reading a book by David Platt entitled, "Radical".  One of the many eye opening ideas by Platt really caught my attention and I wanted to share it.
Basically he notes that many times we try to soften the words of Christ and rationalize them away because his words are often offensive and require a very high level of commitment, but what if Jesus really meant what he said? (My paraphrase)
